AT&T CELEBRATES ‘black future makers’
for their cultural, social and community impact.

AT&T established the Black Future Makers series to celebrate Black leaders, influencers and change-makers from sports, entertainment, healthcare and other industries. In 2021, a total of 28 honorees, including legendary Lebron James, were recognized for shaping “the now, the new and the next.”

An integrated marketing campaign shared Black Future Maker stories across channels and in three AT&T Flagship stores. Guest speakers, musicians and artists made appearances in store and on social. A series of commissioned works from Dallas-based digital artist and photographer, Temi Coker, were animated and choreographed on large video walls at retail. The Dream In Black campaign included digital TV ads, interactive kiosks and an opportunity for guests to have their portrait captured against a dimensional backdrop created in Coker’s signature style.
